AGENCY COLLABORATION | WEBSITE DESIGN

Over the span of 14 years, we’ve immersed ourselves in the dynamic realm of marketing agencies across Western Canada. Our journey includes collaborations with renowned agencies like: Critical MassCult, Suitcase Interactive,  and Karo Agency. These experiences have been invaluable, offering deep insights into the intricate processes of agency teamwork, from coordinating with copywriters and SEO experts to managing accounts and delivering compelling client presentations. Through it all, one principle remains clear: we learned that results matter.

CHALLENGE

Oil and gas companies can be under the magnifying glass in terms of their environmental, economic and cultural impact they can have. Our challenge was to communicate their efforts in a clear and approachable way.

RESULTS

Until this point, their sustainability reports were executed in print form so we made the content more easily accessible by building a microsite. Our theme was clarity which was used as a metaphor throughout the site. We shot and used large, bold photography highlighting the most important information with clean and friendly iconography and illustrations. Microsite’s along with their traditional printed reports were used moving forward as it was proven and well-received channel to distribute their reports. The user’s were able to create custom PDFs from the website with the pages that were of interest to them.

UNITED WAY FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN - CASE STUDY

We were awarded the task of helping United Way develop a campaign for their annual fundraising campaign.

Client:

United Way, Calgary

Role:

Creative / Art Direction / Design

CHALLENGE

Fundraisers can be dry, repetitive, and unmemorable. We needed to find a way to captivate and engage the audience so that they might dig into their pockets and donate. We wanted to execute a multi-channel, cross-platform campaign.

RESULTS

We took a fun approach by creating a superhero persona. Our concept was that everyday people can be superheros by giving –Just leave the cape and mask at home. We successfully launched a complete integrated campaign across multiple channels including a website, billboards, transit shelters, newspapers, boardrooms, rallies, TV commercials and social media across southern Alberta.

United Way celebrated a record-breaking fundraising campaign of $55.7 million that shattered the record set the previous year. The mayor and city council were supportive and completely embraced the superhero campaign, and we saw unprecedented involvement from volunteers. We like to think it was partially from our fun campaign.

SOME OTHER GREAT CLIENTS WE'VE WORKED WITH

Here’s a selection of some of our favorite clients we’ve worked with over the years. The roles have varied from Designer to Art Director, to Creative Director. Every project and every client has presented an opportunity to learn and grow, from diving deep into UX design in complicated and rich sites like AT&T, Mawer, and AIMco, to sexy sites like Harley Davidson and even Micheals. Furthermore, there have been other interesting sites that we’ve been fortunate to design components of such as Rolex.com, but the sites below at some ones that we felt we had a small stake in and made a difference in.
